Verizon would acquire $4.25 billion in assets, $750 million in preferential interests, and a minority stake in the company as part of the transaction.

Verizon’s net income in 2021 was $5.4 billion, up 25.4 percent from the first quarter of 2020, and adjusted EBITDA was $12.2 billion, up from $11.9 billion in the first quarter of 2020. They added 98,000 Consumer Fios Internet net additions, and 102,000 overall Fios Internet net additions. Verizon recorded $1.27 EPS in the first quarter of 2021, up from $1.00 in the first quarter of 2020. In the first quarter of 2021, total Verizon Media sales were $1.9 billion, up 10.4% year on year.
